Short answer

Why test a premium property at all?
Price is not a proxy for history. A high-value house can still have been let to the wrong occupant, used by a family member, or left empty and entered. The difference in Noosa is the size of the downside: dealing with contamination in a large, well-finished home, and the time it is unusable, costs far more than in a smaller property.
A whole-house screen is the efficient first step. If it is clear, you have your answer. If it detects residue, laboratory samples from the affected rooms give a figure you and the seller can both rely on.
High-end finishes and what can be sampled
Stone benchtops, glass, polished concrete and gloss joinery are easy to sample and give clear results.
